Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is definitely a movie that has had an impact on me because it was about a boy who’s dad died in 9/11 and he finds a key in his dad’s closet a year after his death, so he goes on a mission to see who the key belongs to. This movie had an impact on me because it shows that no matter how afraid you are of something if you face your fears great things can come out of it. I think the target audience of this movie was for anyone 12 years old and older because to understand this movie you have to understand 9/11 and its impact. The movie appealed to this audience because they made the main character a young boy so it spoke to the entire audience, where as if they had an older person playing this character it probably wouldn
‘t have had the same impact that it did on viewers like me.
